I would trade a sunrise for a rainbow! The sunrise bike ride was my favorite activity when we went to Maui last year. My hubs really enjoyed it too (after getting over the shock of getting up at 2am). He said he would go back even if only to do that bike ride again. We used Bike It Maui. Loved them!

Hmm, I forget what company we used. I was too busy busting my knee up!
But we didn't do the sunrise ride, just the daytime one. I loved it though, despite the bike wreck. :P

oh wow - look at that rainbow! seriously magical.

when we went to the Lake District in 2010, everyone told us it would rain the whole time. (it always does there, apparently!) but there wasn't a cloud in the sky when we arrived, and I kept taking pictures of empty blue just to prove that we had a sunny day on the trip because no one would have believed me otherwise! haha :)

Did you take the third picture with a fisheye lens? It's incredible.

Looks like fun once the sun came out. Would have been such a beautiful bike ride.

We had the same experience! It was brutally cold and we were prepared for it but it was much colder and rainier than normal. As you said though, the fact we were able to actually be there was amazing. Always have to look for the bright spots even behind all of those clouds!
