Thankful Things

I've been thinking a lot about Monday's post, the paths we all choose and how we know if we're on the right one. Do you feel you are? I'll be back with more thoughts on this subject next week. Until then, all I can say is if you're a big bird in a small cage, sing your song, but then break free and fly away...
my new path and the people who made it possible for me to find it
beach games
my sister in law Kree
cuz she's my friend
Sunset sessions. always. ~"Red sky at morning, surfers take warning. Red sky at night, surfer's delight."
a job I truly enjoy (that allows me to play with Legos!)
for handwritten notes and these lovely cards from Jes at Matsumoto Studio
for homemade games and tv-free time together
for the freedom that came after quitting my job and following my heart
What are you thankful for this week? I hope you have a great weekend!

I don't know how we know if we're on the right path...I think that if you're unhappy with where you're at in life, then you're on the wrong path
Beautiful photos! I hope next week is a great one, too :)

This post made me happy. I love that you made your own checkerboard and that you 2 intentionally make time for each other. That is happening in our house tonight starting in tminus 29 minutes. Haha.

I really wish we were friends in real life. I think you would fit into my tiny armory of friends so very well by being a complete breath of fresh air. And seriously though... has anyone told you that You and Scott look like you could be twins? You two look a lot alike. I'm kind of jealous of both your beachy good looks and relaxed spirits.

I love that you both limited your tv time during the Lent... sounds oh, so refreshing!
Fun pictures with your sister-in-law/friend :)

Ahhh yes the path! Usually you can figure out if you're on course when the creativity and happiness flows. Misery not allowed on right path.

Your happiness is infectious Devon! We are trying to find our footing on the right path right now and as terrifying as it is, it's also so gratifying. I love reading your posts!

Love the homemade checker board!!! Great to reflect on all the great things to be thankful for. I'm thankful for my job, where I love the people I work with and the things I do. I really hope I won't be furloughed come Mar 1. I need the money!!

Any job that lets you play with Lego is a good one in my books!
